5 Amazing Blessings God Doesn’t Want You To Forget

Here are five very important things that God never wants us to forget.

you are his child

Can you imagine your own children forgetting that you are their parent? But how often do we forget that we are children of God? The apostle John, apparently emphasizing the fact that we are God’s children now and forever, wrote,Beloved, we are now children of God(1 John 3:2a). John adds to this fact, “Yet as many as received him, to all who believed on his name, to them he gave the right to become children of God(John 1:12). It is a present possession, not a future hope. My kids will always be my kids no matter what they do. Consider how much better God is to us as our Father than we are as his children!

you’re forgiven

It is harder for us to forgive ourselves than it is for God. Should we really set ourselves a higher standard of forgiveness than God does? That’s exactly what we do sometimes. Is the blood of the Lamb of God not sufficient to take away all our sins? of course it is. God promises thatIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”(1 John 1:9). ,there is Therefore there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus(Romans 8:1). If God has forgiven you and you are no longer condemned, don’t feel that way.

you are not perfect

The apostle John tells us right away that we are far from perfect at writing.”If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” And “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:8, 10). I don’t want to call God a liar, so I must confess that I still sin. We are all work in progress. it takes time. Sanctification, indeed, takes a lifetime, but God is patient and patient with us. My question is, are we patient with ourselves?

you’ve never been abandoned

I know that I have forsaken God and made sinful decisions at times, but God has promised, “… I will never leave you nor will I ever forsake you” (Heb. 13:5b). God spoke to Solomon and told him, “… I will dwell among the Israelites, and will not forsake my people Israel(1 Kings 6:13). If God made this promise to Solomon and Israel, wouldn’t He do the same for His children?

you are their prized possession

This is hard for many people, but Scripture is not inerrant. God says, “… The Lord your God has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be the people of his own land.(Deut. 7:6), “But it’s because the Lord loves you…(Deut. 7:8), and “… The Lord your God will protect you…(Deut. 7:12). God didn’t choose us because we are good; He chose us because He is. Read the first chapter of Ephesians to see how you were chosen before the earth and time existed. outstanding!

conclusion

Never let these priceless promises slip from your mind. These are immutable, and even God cannot change them because he is faithful to his own word, even when we are not. You are a child of God. You are forgiven. You are not perfect, but you are fully forgiven. He will never forsake you, and you are his treasured possession and he has to keep it. How cool!?

May God richly bless you,
